Hello Plymouth Democratic Club Members and Supporters!

Many thanks to the attendees and organizers of the Plymouth Democratic Club Picnic, we appreciate each and every one of you!

Please make note that starting this month, the Plymouth Dems regular monthly meetings will beSECOND TUESDAYS with a few exceptions which will be noted.  We hope that this change will ease parking problems, and open up additional venues for our Drinking Liberally after party.

Canned Food Drive:  The Plymouth Democratic Club will be collecting food at our Sept. 12 meeting to help stock the shelves of our local food pantry. Please help us make a difference in the the lives of families in need.  Thank you so much for your support, see calendar below for more details.

Wednesday, September 20, 2017 - Muslims for American Progress - Plymouth

When:  7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Where:  The Plymouth Cultural Center, 525 Farmer Street in Plymouth

When nearly half of all Americans do not know a Muslim and 80 percent of news coverage about Islam and Muslims in the United States is negative, there is a lot of misinformation. In an effort to educate the public on the American Muslim community, ISPU launched the Muslims for American Progress (MAP) project to quantify the contributions of Muslims in the state of Michigan, pairing hard facts with human faces.

On Wednesday, September 20, spend an evening with members of the MAP team and several local Muslims as we present findings from the project and engage in an interactive discussion.
