When:  2 pm to 4 pm

Where:  Plymouth District Library, 223 S Main Street in Downtown Plymouth

Ever wonder why Sikhs wear a turban?  What are the 5 Ks? What are the beliefs and practices of the 5th largest religion in the world? Get answers to these and other questions.  Also try ethnic foods, experience the culture at this free event for the whole family.

Plymouth Democratic Club February Meeting

When:  6:30 pm Social Time, Call to Order 7 pm, Drinking Liberally (location TBA) 9 pm

Where:  The Plymouth District Library, 223 S Main Street in Downtown Plymouth

Precinct Delegate and Michigan Democratic Party Convention Information, MDP Membership Drive.  Learn all about the upcoming MDP Convention, where candidates for MI Attorney General, MI Secretary of State, MI Supreme Court, will be selected, and how YOU can participate.  You can sign up for membership in the MDP at this meeting, so you will be eligible to vote at the April 15 Convention. You must be a member by March 16 to vote at the Convention.  Precinct delegate affidavits will be available and a notary on hand.  

Guest speakers are State Rep. Tim Greimel, candidate for Congress 11th District, Melissa Daub, candidate for Wayne County Commission 10th District, and Greg Olszta from the Michigan chapter of the Poor People's Campaign.  



Thursday, February 22, 2018 -  PDC Trivia Night at Station 885

When:  Gather by 7:15 pm, Trivia begins at 7:30 pm

Where:  Station 885, 885 Starkweather in Old Village Plymouth

Get your thinking cap and beer goggles on and join the PDC Trivia Team.  A table for 15 is reserved for the PDC but we can accommodate more.  Thanks to the PDC Club Development Committee for planning this fun event, participation is free.

Canvassing For Our Values Training (1/4)

When:  1:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Where: Novi Public Library, 45255 Ten Mile Road

This is the first of four training meetings coordinated by Indivisible 11th and our other partners, presenting a strategic framework that has been developed and specifically curated for our unique district based on data and demographics.  Please attend if you are able, and report back to the club.  We would like as many PDC members to get involved as possible.  This training provided by the Michigan People's Campaign.

Northville Democratic Clubs.  Whether you are a current Precinct Delegate or are planning to run this Spring, you should attend this training.  This is the second of the four Indivisible training events,  presenting a strategic framework that has been developed and specifically curated for our unique district based on data and demographics.

When:  All Day

Where:  Cobo Center in Detroit

Democracy is Not A Spectator Sport!  Come to the convention and vote for who you want to see on the ballot.  You must be a member by March 16 to vote at the Convention. 


Plymouth Democratic Club meetings are held on the Second Tuesday of each month at the Plymouth District Library unless otherwise noted.
