Hello Plymouth Democratic Club Members and Supporters!

Tuesday, March 12, 2019 - Plymouth Democratic Club March Meeting - Environment

When:  6:30 pm Social, 7 pm Call to Order

Where:  The Plymouth District Library, 223 S Main Street, Downtown Plymouth

Please join us for the March meeting of the Plymouth Democratic Club, with a focus on the environment.

We will welcome guest speakers:
Andrew Sarpolis from the Sierra Club on the Green New Deal, information and discussion
Troy Bracke from  Michigan Solar Solutions on residential solar installations and incentives
Tracey Birkenhauer, President of The Conservancy Initiative on behalf of Stop Arbor Hills

Information will be presented and membership will vote on a Board-endorsed change to the PDC PAC account so we can better support our candidates.

Elections for Plymouth City Commission take place this year and we will go over how to file and run for these positions. We will also be starting a group for people interested in running for or supporting candidates running for Township Trustee positions in 2020.

As always, any of our elected officials who are available are very welcome to come and give us an update!

The Plymouth Dems 'Drinking Liberally' after party will be held at 9 pm following the meeting, at The Post Local Bistro.  Raise your spirits as you raise your glass, enjoy refreshments and more political discussion with your fellow Democrats. While drinking liberally, always remember to drink responsibly, and make liberal use of designated drivers.  Drinking and driving is reckless and irresponsible, like separating children from their families at the southern border, conspiring with Russia against our national interests, or exhibiting an expansive pattern of lies and criminality.

Wednesday, March 20, 2019 - PDC Postcard Writing Democratic Outreach

When:  7:00 pm

Where:  Location TBA

Please join us to begin doing outreach to Strong Dems in Plymouth!  We will write postcards to let them know about the club and invite them to an upcoming meeting. First up is Plymouth City, Precinct 1. If you are a Precinct Delegate or live in Precinct 1 your input will be especially helpful.
